iComp introduces EU-OSS

Published 14.10.2021 - 14:13 by AndreasM

iComp write:

With the current high demand for the ACA1234, we have crossed the threshold where VAT must be paid in the destination country if it's an EU member state. Since the VAT rates in most EU countries are higher than in Germany, we will contact customers in the coming days and weeks if there is a change of the total that they have ordered. We will inform you by eMail about possible supplementary payments or refunds.

Our shop system now knows the different VAT rates of all EU member states, but will show prices including the German VAT of 19% until a delivery address is known. After entering a delivery address, all prices in the product list and the shopping cart will be shown including your local VAT rate. [...]

Jorgen Bilander has revised the SDBox so that it is now compatible with Niklas Ekström's firmware for the parallel to SPI adapter and supports its new Card Detect function. The SDBox V2 (SDBox Rev. 2A) has been out since August and can be soldered together yourself with the appropriate knowledge. All the files and information required for this are located in Jorgen Bilander's GitHub repository, where a demonstration video can also be called up, which shows the new version of the SDBox in use with the card detection function:

Ryś MKII adapter (wheel support)

Published 10.10.2021 - 18:37 by HelmutH

Ryś MK II adapter comes as a successor to Ryś USB. Similarly to its predecessor it is based upon 16-bit Microchip microcontroller and it can be used together with USB HID devices like mouses, joysticks, pads.
Our product provides built-in USB stack which enables USB HID devices (like a mouse, a joystick or a pad) support without the need for installing additional software drivers. Ryś’s installation procedure consists of simply plugging it into the correct port (i.e. mouse or joystick port) of one’s computer.
