The AROS Archives is a collection of software for the AROS Research Operating System and can be found via the URL http://archives.aros-exec.org .

It runs in a similar way to Aminet, as the programmers themselves usually upload their own software in order to make it available to AROS users.

Boing, a brand new paper magazine dedicated to the Amiga, is now available for pre-order! Delivery scheduled for mid-July.

Boing is a magazine dedicated to the Amiga computer, whether original ("classic") or new generation. It deals with all its variations or rather variants ;): AmigaOS (1.x, 2.x, 3.x), AmigaOS 4.1, MorphOS, AROS and ApolloOS.

The journal has 52 color pages in A4 format. The printing, carried out at a printer, is of professional quality ("glossy" appearance). The cover is in glossy coated 300g and the inside in modern coated 130g, all connected by staples. [...]

A surprising entry for now thanks to Keith Gilliland for the heads up, after a post was recently made on Reddit about the Amiga being ahead of its time graphically.

From what seems to be an ex-Psygnosis/Clockwork Games developer (who wasn’t involved directly), there is mention of a version of Lemmings 3D running on the Amiga. However, it was cancelled as “the frame rate was so bad”. [...]
