problem to Assign AmiTCP:
I'm sorry, but the Roadshow commands (ping, traceroute, etc.) are not compatible with the AmiTCP TCP/IP stack itself, and the traceroute command (including the source code which can be found in the SDK) will not work with AmiTCP.

The fundamental reason why it does not work is that creating the packets which are used for probing the route works differently for Roadshow and AmiTCP. AmiTCP uses different TCP/IP kernel functions which were obsoleted and replaced in the TCP/IP kernel which Roadshow uses.

Even if you solved all the other problems which render the Roadshow traceroute command incompatible with the AmiTCP TCP/IP stack you would still have to find suitable replacements for the kernel functions Roadshow offers but which are not present in the AmiTCP TCP/IP stack kernel.
