Cd Covers reducing size

Post by trott3r »

Hello,

I have just registered to get access to the cd covers so I can print them out for the cover cds I possess.

They are alot larger than the actual size of a cd case.
How would i reduce them and to what dimensions or would it be pixel?

Preferably a windows program for now since i dont have my mac mini morphos machine connected to a printer.

You can use MS Word or another office program to place and size a picture freely on the paper.

Or use a free program like Irfanview http://www.irfanview.com/
It lets you select the desired size of the picture before it is printed.

The advantage of Word and the like is that you can print multiple pictures on one page.

Do you know what size is required to get cd sleeve inserts?

Or does word do pictures at "life size"?
Then i could put the cdrom case up to the screen and get the correct size.

thanks

No, I'd use an existing one and a ruler to find out.

Word does not know how big your screen is. It can only measure in pixels, not in inches.

I have used nero cover designer for window in nero 7 premium and it seem to work ok. Although a pain to figure out how to zoom things.

just in case someone else has the same question in the future
