Some statistical from the year 2013

Post by AndreasM »

The year is slowly but surely coming to its end and as we will be in stress in the early 2014 I want to show you some statistical numbers from 2013.

The Amiga Future webpage currently has a volume of 250 gigabytes. In this case, the database alone is a size of 250 MB.

On average, the Amiga Future webpage has 5500 visits and 50,000 hits daily.
This means from January to today 1,837,536 visits and 19,662,489 hits.
A total traffic of 573 GB.

The last few months I have received 15,000 emails (without spam).
This may explain why my answers are always so short

The most popular full versions in our download area is still Ports of Call with 2700 accesses, followed by DigiBooster 1.7 and the Amiga Video Tribute.

At the most traffic produced the AmiKit mirror with almost 500 GB. Also the WinUAE Mirror generates quite a bit of traffic.

Since unregistered users can download from the Amiga Future webpage, the following number is perhaps interesting: guests have downloaded 226.357 archives. This is equivalent to 1,439 GB of traffic.

In our article database are currently over 4500 articles and in the Gallery 19,900 pictures.

The Amiga software database is getting steadily expanded. Meanwhile, the database contains over 4,000 entries and nearly 5,000 images.

In the cheat database with currently cheats, solutions and tips & tricks for 3420 Amiga games. So this is one of the largest collections in the world.

The Amiga Future Every project is in the works. The first two parts of the project might be published later in 2013.

3217 users are currently registered on the Amiga Future Webpage.

18,000 German and 7,000 English news were published on the Amiga Future webpage.
Of course we want to continue to expand the news section and we are always looking for interesting news messages.
Should you have published a program or project, will us please or simply use the news reporting form.

In total there are 50,600 posts in the forum so far.

The cost of the Amiga Future Webpage to 2013 amount ~900 euros (hosting, programming work, etc.)

Donations: In 2013 we had about 170 euros. Where almost the half came from the Amiga Future editors.

In our link database are over 600 links to other sites. The database is of course kept uptodate.

At this point, also a big thank you to the entire Amiga Future team.
Without the great help this site and of course the print magazine would not be possible.

So, that's it for now. If you still have questions, just write here in the internal forum.

Thanks for the statistics Andreas, although it would be nice to tell us about the circulation of the magazine as well.
