SAM3S-EK2 Atmel ICE Programming Issue

Post by MichaelSmith »

Hi,

I recently received a SAM3S-EK2 evaluation kit and I have not been able to successfully program it with the Atmel ICE debugger. I am using the Atmel ICE adapter to connect to the ARM JTAG port on the baseboard. In addition I am setting JP3 to erase the flash and clear the GPNVM bits. After doing this I am able to erase the flash, but I am unable to program. Programming always fails on the verifying step and outputs the following message:I have been able to program the board using SAM-BA and then I can go into Atmel Studio 6.2 and debug the program. This is absolutely maddening though. I hope someone can tell me that I am doing it wrong. I have been through all the documentation and cannot get the programming over JTAG to work.

Please help.

I did not find the right solution from the internet.

Dear Sir

this forum is about Amiga Computers.

Classic Amiga use a Motorola CPU and the typical
Amiga Co PU.

Your Atmel is very different.
So go to a Atmel Forum and ask friendly for
support
